BlueTwelve Studio and Annapurna Interactive have again shown off Stray, after a bit of a delay from the initial time window of a 2021 release. This time we get a look at what to expect from gameplay when it releases in early 2022.
Iterating this again, like I did in the previous article this game has such a great tone to it, and everything they show off here including mechanics, animations, and environments continues to push me to believe this could be one of the better games of the year. The unique premise of controlling a cat and the fun antics you can get into with that between action and puzzle-solving makes for what looks to be a flat-out fun and laid-back experience; which for me is going to be a welcome change-up from what I usually play.
